Reggio is to host the TAV high-speed railway station for the mid-Po valley.

The logo of the station, resembling a series of waves alternating from one end to the other, the three bridges that link the station to the by-pass roads, and the new motorway exit are designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava.
